A friend at work likes to send postcards weekly to the same person. When she shared this with me, I came up with the fun idea to create a painting that she could send in sections, like a puzzle. Once all the pieces arrived, her friend would have a painting to frame! Below, I’ve shared how I created the mail art puzzle…
To make it really easy to mail my stenciled painting, I chose to work on the back of the Black & Ivory Postcard sheet from Canvas Corp. Add in two 12×12 stencils (Tile Mania and Stained Glass Daisies) and I was all set with my design.
I created the background with Neocolor 2 crayons and a baby wipe. Super quick and easy!
The final step was to cut the 12×12 sheet into the individual postcards. Now they are all ready to be sent!
